On November 27. 2020, the 13th Meeting of the Hungarian-Russian Intergovernmental Economic Cooperation Committee was held in Budapest.
The Hungarian negotiating delegation was led by Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Russian delegation was led by Minister of Health Mihail Murasko.
As in previous years, the Minister invited István Szekeres, Managing Director of MIB Invest Group Kft., President of the Hungarian-Russian Department of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to address the meeting.
In his speech, István Szekeres emphasized the need to stimulate mutual freight transport and investment and the importance of regional cooperation.
He asked the Russian government to support Hungarian investments and specifically mentioned the strategic importance of agricultural and food cooperation.
